Its been a while!!

Yes! It sure has been awhile!

WE have been gearing up our place to be put on the market & its finally (mostly) done! Unfortunately that means not much creativity has been going on.... and the shop's been neglected for a few months!

I am gearing up for the Chrsitmas season & wanted to finally put up a new post about what's been going on!

The newest addition to my shop is THIS, dead sea mud mask! The dead sea has LONG been known for its skin nourishing properties. It is the saltiest body of water in the world.

Products from the dead sea have been known to help stimulate natural skin regeneration, aid in blood circulation, and remove toxins and dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.

Use this mask all over your body! This mud is not diluted, it will go a long way! Make it go farther by diluting it with distilled water JUST before application. This helps it spread more easily over the skin too! Let it dry while you relax, and rinse of thoroughly afterward!

WHOOSH! Its been a busy few weeks over here!
I know i've promised new products, and they are coming! Its been so busy I haven't found the time to finish the packaging and labelling and "cooking" of everything I want to bring to you!

I did think, however that i'd share some recent finds on icraft and etsy.

I've been big on brown and brights for a while and aren't these the cutest little pot holders in just that colour theme?

In an attempt to reduce plastic, why not get yourself some resusable bags? Market bags and grocery totes are available from many handmade sellers and they're handy for lots of things besides groceries. You can bring your reusables when you shop for other things like clothes and toiletries too!

Okay, these are just the coolest EARRINGS>... LOL! THey make me giggle!!

The suns has just come out after a day of rain... I sure hope it sticks around for a while!

As you know, my storefront is located on a site called icraft.ca.

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to visit this site, you really should! Icraft.ca is a Canadian company. I could say similar to ebay or etsy, but really its in a class of its own!

Unlike the big “E” online venues, icraft is strictly handmade items. That’s right. No wholesale items, no supplies, etc. It’s a place where artisans, crafters and designers can showcase their products – and the people who love handmade, can connect. Shoppers can also contact the sellers directly for commissioned work (from those sellers who offer that service) and get their questions answered.

It’s a really simple site…. And I LOVE simple.
There aren’t a lot of nooks and crannys to this site, and not a heck of a lot of outside advertising either – which is fantastic. It’s look is clean, its crisp, and totally easy to use! Yep, guess where I’m doing all my Christmas shopping this year?

What’s on icraft you ask? Well, there is a huge array of items that you can browse and buy. Price points vary from artist to artist and each has a unique style.

Jewelry – I am absolutely drooling over this NECKLACE by Brilliant Beads. It would be perfect for a night out in a "little black dress".

You can also stop by Designs by Debra and shop her store. Her prices are amazing, and her jewelry makes the perfect gift for anyone! But you can't have THIS because I just bought it... tee hee. I had been looking at this for some time, and decided it would be a perfect gift. I signed up for the Chemo Angels program and this makes the perfect gift for my buddy!

As you can see, there are styles for everyone. Each artist has a unique view and that comes out in thier beautiful creations. I am having a hard time deciding what my favorite piece is from GALLERIA LINDA. Be sure to stop by!

Happy Monday!

Today is a mucky, moist Toronto day. I was hoping to see some sunshine, but unfortunately its all clouds today! The weatherman is calling for rain and 18degrees... so much for summer!

If you haven't had a chance already to visit my site on icraft.ca - I invite you do have a look-see. I added lotions last night to the site, and I currently have lip balm pots, foot scrubbies and some soap listed as well.

Lime Margarita & Mango Madness glycerine soap coming soon! It just needs to be cut & packaged - and will be listed tonight or tomorrow.

I am also doing a custom order this week, and so I will also have in stock strawberry splash lip balms in the stick style.

Good Morning!

Well, another busy weekend for me.
I picked up two supply orders, cleaned my craft space and dining room and kitchen ~ built a new cabinet (much needed vertical storage), and whipped up 6 new lotions & 2 logs of yummy soaps!

All these nifty goodies will be on the website soon ~ I am just awaiting a label order & WHOOMP there it is! yeah! What's that? Oh yeah, I said website!! I have registered the Domain Name www.naturliche.com and that will eventually be the home of my cyber store. Websites take alot of time - especially for someone like me, who is FAR from tech savvy. I will have that re-directed to my site on icraft.ca shortly. If you look just to your right, you will see a lovely new logo on my sidebar. Clicking on that link will direct you immediately to my "store" on icraft.ca.

Currently I have posted two lip balm flavors & my bath fizzies. The posting for fizzies will be changed. I have decided for a couple of reasons, that selling the fizzies in singles is not resonable. First, I am struggling to find the right packaging for them. Shrink wrap makes it looks just darn ugly. And if i don't seal them from moisture, who knows what will happen in shipping! So.. currently they're listed in a package of four - this will likely change.

Yes, I know, its strange, I'm showing you my new store, and telling you NOT to buy just yet! I promise, its just around the corner~

One of the hardest things in starting up this business is deciding on labelling and packaging, logos and colors etc.

I am a crafty person by nature, if I may say so myself. I may not be great at everything, but I sure would try just about anything at least once!

Hm.. I should put that on my about me page, ya? LOL

So... there is a tie between Logo 2 and 3. And so, I guess I will have to be the decision maker myself. I love the flourish on logo three and i like the clean lines of the font. And so, I am oficially choosing Logo #3 for my little "shop".

Welcome to my little blog!

First I want to thank everyone for giving me such wonderful support through this venture! I am truly blessed to have the love and support of such wonderful and talented people!

Well, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, yes?

Today is the birthday of Naturliche Body Bliss! A very exciting day for me!

Many exciting things are being perfected, like my logo, website, packaging and all that dirty business work. Luckily, i make soap, so I stay clean =)
